What's this?

Tick-tock, tick tock. I hear a clock but I don't see one.

I don't know where I am, and that's not particularly common. But it does seem very...I don't think familiar is the right term. Although it feels that, too. Interesting.

This isn't New York.

Hello. I'm lost.

Oh, I see. Well, I'm afraid you're right that this isn't your New York at all. It's a place called the City.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-18 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, that's the ticking you're hearing. It's because you're alone, you see--you only hear it when you're by yourself, the sound of the clock beneath the City. Are you near a fountain, at the moment? That's where most people usually end up, when they first arrive here.

Oh, rats, that's right, I do always forget to introduce myself. I'm sorry. Hello, I'm Rosella, and it's very nice to meet you.

[WAIT HOLD EVERYTHING.]

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-18 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, goodness, I know you, don't I? You're Sam's--are you Miss Saya? The Miss Saya? You, er--do you happen to recall someone by the name of Sam Witwicky?

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-18 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
He was--he'd recognize you, I'm sure, if he were here, but he's...he left a few months ago. He was my best friend. And...and if you're the Miss Saya he would mention sometimes, then he always spoke very highly of you, too.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-18 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
It was a very long time ago, but I remember I came to live with him just after you left. I remember he was quite sad that you were gone, too, and he'd mention you often. And I remember once, when all the visitors came, he was terribly excited about it because he was hoping he might see you among them.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-18 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I've been here two years and two months now, and you would've been gone right before then. So it's a little more than that, I should think.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-18 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
And Sam was about the same age as I was, I think, when I first arrived here. Seventeen or eighteen.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-19 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
You had a Warehouse--the same one I live in now, actually. And we have cars, and one of them is called a Porsche, and Sam was always very careful that no one ever drove it because it was yours.

[identity profile] primrosella.livejournal.com 2010-10-19 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
If you'd like, you're certainly welcome to come stay here. Er, for good, that is, not just to visit and see everything. Sam would want-- There's plenty of room, and I've been the only one around for...well, a few months now. Do you mind cats?

Snowdrop shouldn't be a problem, then. She's rather good about keeping to herself.
