I don't know where I am, and that's not particularly common. But it does seem very...I don't think familiar is the right term. Although it feels that, too. Interesting.

What do you do, back home?

I'm a mechanical engineer. I work mostly on industrial looms, but I prefer cars.

It seems like there'd be a considerable difference between the two.

Yes, there is. I interned with Ferrari, for a period, when I was a student.

You must be pretty good at what you do.

I am obsessive, about what I do.

And you?

I'm a prosthetist. Though here, I do a little more general medical work.

May I see what you do?

If you'd like. I don't mind showing off my lab, just drop by the Hospital some afternoon, once you've gotten settled.

I like intricate things.
